Giveaway!

This weekend has been crazy! I had such a lovely time with J. L. even though our initial plans fell through. I'm going out of town tomorrow for a conference and because I got so piled up with work, we decided to have a pseudo Valentine's Day and to postpone our real one. We ended up going to a hockey game and having to postpone our "real" Valentine's Day (long story), but it turned out to be a really good thing.

On our way home from the game we saw a guy fall off his bike and take a very nasty spill. We looped around the block to make sure he was okay and called 911 as soon as we saw he was bleeding from his head. Long story short, about 45 minutes, two 911 phone calls and lots of blood later an ambulence finally came. I think this guy had been drinking, but I worried he had a concussion or some other form of head trauma because he kept wanting to sleep and couldn't remember simple things like where he lived. I was really proud of myself for staying in control and not freaking out. Even when he tried to hide from the paramedics I was proud that J.L. and I kept him calm. It was quit a crazy night, but I'm glad we were there to help him!

ANYWAY, I'm going out of town this week and I thought it would be a perfect time to do another giveaway from Chrissy's shop Whimsical Poppysmic! Look at this super cute head band!

This is so cute! I'm definitely a follower. I love the Heart Felt embroidered crochet Headband in her shop, and my most embarrassing moment is truly awful. Once, my friend and I were walking back from class singing an annoying song & decided to burst into my bf's room singing it...well, we busted in singing at the top of our lungs...and there was a school maintenance worker standing on a ladder in the middle of the room. Yeah. I still blush every time I see that worker.

I used to take dance when I was little and we used to perform at schools and such for our concerts. Well one of those Ill never forget-I actually ran off in tears after this, I was 6-we were doing kicks as we went on stage and just as I got centered on stage I flung my shoe out into the audience...not my best moment lol. But I can laugh now!

My most embarrassing moment is when my pants ripped at Disneyland and I was just about to get on Pirates. I had to tie my jacket around my waist to "cover" up the rest of the day!!

most embarrassing moment-falling on the soccer ball in my first collegiate game in front of the entire boys team (which by the way had their shirts off and chests painted!)

That is so cute. I've recently been getting into headbands more. I saw this one at Target I really liked, but I didn't get it because I'd already spent too much money on that particular shopping trip, lol. Maybe it'll be there in a couple weeks and on sale, at that! ;)

most embarrasing moment? ha.. well nice to meet you too! Well I would have to say that one that stands out in my memory would be..

when I was in the 5th grade, me and 2 of my besties at the time were doing a number in the talent show in front of the whole school. We were lip singing and dancing {really korny, but oh so sweet} to the song 'every rose has its thorn' tis a total rocker song and we were just 9 years old at the time. Needless to say the whole time I was up there my zipper was down and when I finished with our piece.. I was mortified to know that everyone saw it and was laughing at me. So I took that to the heart. Now some odd years later, i can still remember the laughs, but now I can laugh with them as well. KIDS!
