Update on the Job

Since so many of you have been asking I thought I'd do a quick post instead of replying.
(Queue the celebratory music!)

So far so good!!
I shamelessly stole this image from a Lebonese business journal. #fact.

I knew from day one of, well, last year that I would love this job and I'm so grateful to be here.

Yesterday morning I went to Human Resources and filled out a pound of paper work.

(Quick question: does ANYONE like a high deductible/health savings plan? It seems to me you'd have to be a as healthy as a horse for that to work out.)

Then after that, I had a staff meeting and meetings for training.
Pretty run-of-the-mill average stuff, but it felt fun and exciting because I feel like I fit in well and I'm confident I will do well.

My RAs come on Saturday and I'm MUCHO excited for that!

How has work been for everyone who had to "go back?"

I've heard a high deductible health plan is good for those that can not afford a very high monthly premium... So if you look at it either way you are paying a buttload of money where one you pay the majority of it when you get sick the other you are constantly paying regardless of current health ;-)

Plus you can set up a health savings account that you could save at your leisure the equivalent of your high deductible so that when you do get seriously sick you have the money in a special account for that situation.
