Look, Mom! I MADE an Ice Cream Cake!

Yep, I made it!
I bought myself some special Wilton pans (only $14 at Kroger) and made plain old white cake and a little bit of red dye.

After letting it chill in the freezer for a day, I mixed 1 container Cool Whip and 1 container vanilla ice cream and filled it out.

After assembling the cake and decorating it, this is how it turned out:

TADA!

I served it at my very first dinner party with my staff and it was a hit.
Woot!
