Decor de Francais

I had a miniature panic attack just now (the 30-second kind, don't worry) when I realized that I am MOVING in 13 days and I haven't even started packing. (For those of you just now joining, I got a job earlier last week that requires me to move--I'm not that lazy/unprepared.)

However, while I make packing lists and get all ready to go, I thought I'd take a break and blog about my favorite thing about moving:
New Decorations!

I lived in France last summer and fell in love with all things French... especially the way in which they design and decorate their homes. (Okay, that's a lie, especially their food and THEN their decor/fashion.)

I love how the French use modern lines with chic, sophisticated, feminine accents
all while infusing the old European charm. (Who doesn't love a dash or Rococo elegance here and there?)

While I don't have the budget to run out and get all of this stuff, what do you think about these for a little inspiration?

I'm not sure if I can paint or not, but if so I am definitely thinking something like this for the main room coupled with darker furniture and white trim. So beautiful.
See the clean lines?
I really like the toile fabric on these chairs. I may only have toile throw pillows or something, but I love it
I love this for a bathroom look
SOMEDAY, I will have cute white dishes like this and display them like so. I love this clean, classic look.

I love the vanity by the windows in this picture.

Finally, I like the simple feel of this room paired with the dramatic curtain.

C'est magnifique, non?
